Anna Grace Marshall, PT, DPT
Originally from Tuscaloosa, Anna Grace earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2020. During her time there, she worked with the Kinesiology department helping diabetic adults learn various forms of exercise to promote overall health and wellbeing. Following graduation, Anna Grace went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samford University in 2023.
Anna Grace’s first physical therapy work experience was in the skilled nursing setting, where she worked with the aging population. It was during this time that she solidified her skills in balance training, strength training for the older adult, and educating the aging population about the benefits of continued movement on quality of life and reduction of risk for poor health outcomes.
Anna Grace found her true passion in working with outpatient orthopedic patients, joining The Total Joint team in 2024. She furthered her education by earning her Dry Needling Certification (Cert DN) through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. In the clinic, Anna Grace has a passion for working with active adults with lower extremity injuries, as well as older adults who want to maintain balance and improve their mobility in the community. She enjoys helping these individuals get back to activities that they love but felt they needed to stop doing because of pain or safety concerns. She finds joy in watching people gain the confidence and movement needed to take on their goals.
Anna Grace is the Social Chair for The Total Joint, and she takes pride in fostering a sense of community and commraderie among our staff. In addition, she is part of the unofficial sports duo of the company, partnering with Jimmy to take on pickleball tournaments, golf tournaments, and more.
In her free time, Anna Grace enjoys golfing, pickleball, and traveling. She is a tri-athlete and regularly completes running and triatholon events.
